Astilbe Japonica ‘Washington’

Astilbe are long-lived perennials, which are excellent for moist, shady corners in sun or dappled shade. ‘Washington’ is a particularly choice Astilbe, with pure white plumes, which appear from early summer. Plants are very rabbit resistant, and attractive to a range of different butterflies.

Astilbe are an excellent plant for cottage garden borders, or can be grown in containers for summer colour. Ensure soil is moist at all times. Height: and Spread: 50cm (19″).
