Italian Cypress

A superb architectural specimen, Italian cypress ‘Stricta’ is well known for its use in formal Mediterranean gardens to add depth and structure. The tall columns can be used to break up a flat eye line in any scheme however and shouldn’t be restricted to ‘Italian’ themed gardens. Cupressus sempervirens can also be grown in large containers on a patio or flanking an entrance to add impact. Slow growing and drought resistant these plants are also virtually maintenance free. Height after 10 years: 3m (10′). Ultimate height in UK conditions: 12m (39′). Spread: 4m (13′). Supplied at a height of 30-50cm.
