The pretty lilac blooms of the Allegheny Monkey Flower are borne on stiff, upright stems throughout the summer. Mimulus ringens has narrower foliage than other Mimulus and a neat, clump forming habit. This attractive hardy perennial is at its best when planted in large colonies at the edge of ponds and streams, or grown in drifts in bog gardens. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 30cm (12″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 15cm (6″) below water level.
